Ingredients
- 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 6 pieces bacon slices
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh chives chopped
- 1 tbsp butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with foil for easy cleanup.
- Cook bacon strips in a skillet until crispy, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel to drain, then crumble into bite-sized pieces.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and place on the prepared sheet pan. In a small bowl, mix sour cream with ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the ranch-sour cream mixture evenly over each chicken breast. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature) and the cheese is melted and bubbly. The edges of the chicken should be lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and garnish with fresh chives. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Serve with roasted vegetables or a simple salad alongside.
